Group 42 is proudly sponsoring Texas Public Radio's (TPR) Pinnacle Dinner June 15 with special guest Audie Cornish, host of National Public Radio's All Things Considered — the nation's most listened-to afternoon drive-time news radio program.
Cornish previously served as host of Weekend Sunday Edition, reported from Capitol Hill for NPR News, and reported for Boston’s award-winning public radio station WBUR. She has covered a variety of major news stories including the 2008 presidential election, the Democratic National Convention, the deaths of several West Virginia miners in 2006, the 2005 hurricane season, and Boston’s legalization of same sex marriage.
TPR operates five non-commercial radio stations across the state and was initially organized in 1988. It is a formally incorporated, independently operating nonprofit that specializes in providing public programming on musical art, in-depth news, civil discourse about issues and educational entertainment.
